When do I vote?

• Date:The Primary Election day is Thursday, September 6.
• Hours: Polls in all communities are open from 7 am to 8 pm.
• Registration deadline: August 17, 2012. You can register to vote in person or by mail. For registration by mail, you can use this online form and then print and mail the result according to the instructions.

Where do I vote?

• All voters: visit www.wheredoivotema.com from the Secretary of the Commonwealth to look up your polling location.
• Information from your city or town:
  • Town of Belmont
  • City of Boston
  • City of Watertown

Am I in Will's new for 2012 Senate district? The new 2nd Suffolk & Middlesex Senate district includes all of Belmont and Watertown, most of Brighton, Back Bay and Fenway and parts of Allston. It does not include any of Cambridge.

Here is the official definition of the new district:

Second Suffolk and Middlesex - Consisting of the city of Boston, ward 4, precincts 2, and 5 to 10, inclusive, ward 5, precincts 2, and 6 to 10, inclusive, ward 21, precincts 1 to 3, inclusive, and 5, and 8 to 16, inclusive, ward 22, precincts 3 and 4, and 6 to 13, inclusive, all in the county of Suffolk; and the towns of Belmont and Watertown, all in the county of Middlesex.
